Today's demo was at an elementary school where a FunFair took place to celebrate the end of the year. Vanessa, a good friend and training partner of mine, helped me during the day against the army of kids. There was over 400 people doing all kind of activity going from a bouncing castle to races and food. The whole area was filled with kids of all ages running around away from their parents trying to do all the activity at the same time. After the talent show, where some very talented students played and sang many songs, we did a quick demo for the people around and many more joined in after hearing sword fight and people cheering. We gave a mask and a weapon to all the kids that wanted and gave them a challenge: try to hit me! One at the time of course, I am pretty good at this but 100 vs 1 sounds very challenging. I was not fighting back but I was defending myself though! After couple of seconds of staying alive, I slowed down my parries to let them hit me. All the kids had a shot and they all ran back (with a free week of classes invitation in their hands) to their parents smiling! The picture on the side shows the smallest, and probably cutest, contestant of the day. Thank you O.M. MacKillop Public School for the invitation!
