I approached LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Vaughn earlier this year to see if they would be interested to have any kind of partnership with Vango. We have the same market but in different area so I thought it would be a good business relationship to start. I reached out through a contact form on their website to see who would be the best person to help out. The trades sales manager was actually an ex-fencer from the region! After we talked a little bit about fencing, we talked about what we could do in the near future and she mentioned that they are having every last Wednesday of the month an adult night. The June adult night's theme is the Pan Am Games and because I will compete there, they are very interested to have a Pan Am athlete at their event. |
I still enjoy LEGO even if I'm almost thirty years old but an adult night of LEGO? Really? I did not judge to much and I asked if it was possible to see what's it like to be able to come up with idea of what we could do. Yesterday was the Festival theme. It took me an hour after I arrived to stop having fun and try to focus on what we could do there next month. I had a blast! Construction games, prizes, 4D LEGO movie, LEGO laser-shooting ride... It was a lot of fun! If you are in the region, you should definitely come to the event on June 24th. All the information are online at https://www.legolanddiscoverycentre.ca/toronto/news-events/event/4996/adult-night-pumped-up-for-pan-am.aspx Every night, they give a serious amount of prizes and let's just say that next month for the Pan Am / Fencing special: more prizes will be given (maybe a free week at a fencing summer camp, who knows...) |
